Both Sharp's website and my manual say that it is possible to enter 'dot by dot' mode for PC use, but when I have my computer hooked up to the display (to the HDMI port since it is the only port available to hook a computer into) I am not given any options for this in either the 'HDMI input setup' or the 'View mode' menu. You can just simply set the aspect ratio to auto then set the highest resolution that you monitor can support from your computer. 1 POWER: Switch the TV power on or enter standby.
I'm trying to get it into 'Dot by Dot' mode to bypass the scalar for use with a computer. I have a new LC-26D6U Aquos, which so far seems to be a real pain to own, but hopefully I can work out the problems. Prices vary depending on configuration, but they start at roughly 64,000 to.
